Green envelope day is sheer bliss. It arrives and there’s all the anticipation of what’s inside.
This process is not to be rushed. No, I leave mine until the afternoon when I can sit with a cuppa in my craft studio and enjoy opening and finding out what’s inside.
This months was absolutely gorgeous. Simply loved the postcard. More of those please. It means we can pass on the joy through snail mail as well.
I adore the letter from Laura, it’s as if she’s writing just to me. Telling me her news and reasons for this month’s surprises.
Looking forward to next month.

July was my first issue as a subscriber, after ordering the previous back issues, and it was so exciting to receive it not knowing anything about what artwork was going to be inside, except that I would love it. So glad I subscribed and already excitingly awaiting August's!

The Illustrated Post is such a lovely idea. A time for young and old alike to take a moment to sit and take time to read the thoughtfully put together perfect words from Laura. I loved opening my first instalment and I am so glad Laura keeps it as a secret. I think it's going to be a special time for me each month, reading the letter with a cuppa coffee, using the bookmark in my latest read or popping my sticker in my daily journal which will break up my ever-growing list of things to do. But, best of all, I am going to love finding a special place for the artwork Laura has so lovingly crafted - I know for certain it will bring me joy every time I look at it and I am excited to build a collection.
Thank you Laura for bringing back a bit of peace and serenity (not to mention the stunningly detailed artwork) into my life.

Oh what wonderful post to arrive through the letterbox! Like having a wonderfully talented pen pal. When I see the green envelope shimmering I’m just so excited to see the artwork and goodies inside. The printing is premium quality and it’s packed so thoughtfully. Can’t wait for next month!
I previously bought the calendar which I love, so when I saw the concept of the Illustrated Post pop up on Facebook I knew I wanted to subscribe.
When it arrived I popped the kettle on and sat with a candle just to take 5 minutes out of a normal busy day.
It really felt like something special to open, read and enjoy. The illustration is gorgeous and I can’t wait to pop it in a frame.
I came across Mouse & Meg on Instagram and loved Laura's art work so started following her. Not long after, Laura announced her idea for the Illustrated Post and I absolutely loved the sound of this. Although Laura kept the actual artwork a surprise, I was willing to place my faith in Laura as I felt sure it would be fabulous. So, as soon as it was released, I placed my order and became a monthly subscriber and I'm soooo glad that I did. I've just received the 1st edition of the Illustrated Post and it is absolutely amazing. The newsletter was a complete joy to read and the print and other extras were just wonderful. More than just a whimsical print, the attention to detail is astonishing and really shows Laura's remarkable talent. If you're thinking of subscribing, do it! You certainly won't be disappointed. It's a great price for a monthly moment of calm and joy when that little green envelope arrives in the post and the wonderous surprise at what little treasures await inside.
